A trip to Pylos
The amphitheater structured Pylos, is a small town on the western coast of the county Messinia. A historic place of infinite beauty, built in the bay of Navarino, opposite the island, Sfaktiria.
At various points of Pylos you will find scattered monuments of Navarino naval battle . It is worth visiting the Antonopouleion Museum with exhibits from various historical periods, the house of the gold medalist Kosti Tsiklitira,,the coastal road of Pylos and of course Neokastro.
Undoubtedly, the main attractions are the natural beauty of Navarino Bay and surrounding area. Starting from the hill on which stands the Paleocastro with stunning views,offers the unique beauty of Voidokoilia beach, the lagoon of Yalova and traditional taverns on the beach in Yalova overlooking the Navarino bay.
